Clumsy oafs, loud mouths and know-it-alls
The new Beasts: delightfully offbeat, irresistibly cuddly and now with vibrating rattles!
Meerkats, earwigs and panda bears – the new members of the Beasts family bring a bit of exotic flair along with them, proving once again that sigikid's cuddly creatures have long conquered
the whole world! And it's no wonder. Everyone needs to cuddle once in a while! The main idea behind Beasts – “You're never too old to cuddle” – is true not only in Berlin,
Hamburg, London, Rome or Paris but also in downtown Manhattan, Tokyo, on a farm in Brittany or in a terraced house in Sussex... basically anywhere people aren't afraid to let out their inner
child and openly enjoy the fun of cuddling with these comical Beasts.
May we introduce: Paula Palava
The ten new Beasts from sigikid's design studio are characteristically unusual and loveable, and some of these new cuddly creations even feature a “vibrating rattle” that really
gets them moving. For instance, now you can pull earwig
Tippsy Trippsy's feelers or wring
Chicken Checker's neck if he gets on your nerves – until these two hilarious characters get things shaking. Other family members are
now equipped with this amusing feature, too, like
Trane Trampel,
Little Herbert and the mangy mutt
Fretscha
Fletscha. With
Paula Palava, who looks more like an exploded mop than a sheep, it's best to give her ear a good
yank. Do it, and she'll start talking your ear off with her virtual yacking.
And the remaining four newcomers delight with their exceptionally charming appearance. One of them is
Toco Toronto, a
silly meerkat who only loves big holes in the ground more than cuddling.
Berti Bamboo is a cultivated panda who's sick of eating
nothing but bamboo leaves for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Then there's the somewhat doddery
Honey Momy with her goggle
eyes, shaggy fur and heart of gold.
Continued success in 2011
sigikid's Beasts may be niche products in the broad range of sigikid products, but their success continues in 2011. Over 20 new beasts were “born” this year alone, and many new
Beasts accessories have been created like snugly blankets, cuddle cushions and even an extensive new bag collection.
The complete Beasts collection is now presented on more than 30 pages in a handy consumer catalogue, which will complement these cuddly creatures' very popular
website in the future: www.beaststown.com.
