Holidays for the whole family
Summer vacation is near! The most exciting weeks of the year are now desired by children and parents alike. Many weeks ago hotels have been booked, holiday homes have been chosen, flights
reserved, train tickets bought and itineraries have been made. But, before you go reassure yourself whether you have thought of everything! Well, if you want to enjoy life in the sunny south, you
might like to travel light. But travelling with kids, there are some things to remind off.
E.g. valid identity papers for both, kids and parents. Some holiday destinations like Egypt or Bulgaria require children´s passports including a photograph. Children´s papers older than 2006 may not be sufficient for entry into some countries. So, you better catch up on the details in time.
Check of first-aid kit
To arrive without stress, the first-aid kit should be updated. Also the local weather conditions, mosquito and sun protection should be considered. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for further information.
Bored kids should be involved in holiday plannings very early. Even small children are able to pack their essential toys into their own backpack. Cuddle animals, puzzles, small books or pocket games let time fly during voyage and are also welcome on rainy days. Be careful about things like liquids and scissors that could cause problems with security check at airports.

Older kids love to pack their own wheeled suitcase. In order this won´t end up in chaos, first of all arrange the most important belongings like garments and toys together with the kids and check afterwards if everything is in the right place within the trolley.
Very important! Don´t forget the favourite cuddle animal, comforter or cuddle cushion against homesickness. And even if it is not easy for mothers: please do not wash them before holiday! Because this makes comforting teddy bears and sheeps especially attractive to kids: their smell of home will let them forget their strange feelings!
