Material manufacturing
Our
concern for our products goes beyond monitoring the actual processes used to manufacture our products at our production partners’ sites. We feel responsible to ensure that the suppliers
who make the materials for these products adhere to our strict standards as well. We do this by also certifying (or initiating the certification process for) all of our material manufacturers
(from buttons to plush) according to our safety standards. In addition to the general standards, we pay particular attention to health protection at the respective companies whenever chemical
processes are used in material manufacturing. For example, we promote the wearing of special protective clothing as well as the installation of air extraction systems. All of our suppliers must
go through the SIGISAFE certification process.
