The world is our home. We produce and sell our products worldwide. The topic of global production often leads to discussions about human rights and fair trade. We offer the following statement on this topic:

“As a company, sigikid is part of a global world. Some of our production plants are located in countries in which the majority of the population has a standard of living well below that of our Western world. Our production orders secure the income of many families in these countries, and with our SIGISAFE system we ensure that the production here takes place in a fair and safe environment.

We are sometimes accused that, in doing so, we in some way support unethical practices in certain countries. We cannot make a country change its general policies. However, we do believe that this change will come as the economic power of the population increases.

We pass on the purchasing advantages we gain from having an international production to our customers throughout the world so that more people can afford our products. We naturally profit from this as well, and secure the jobs of our more than 100 employees in Germany in the process.”
